A Summary of What We Need from You Before We Begin
1) WHAT I NEED TO GET STARTED
Your Logo
Preferred formats: High Res JPEG or PNG with transparent background. PDF and EPS acceptable.
Hosting Credentials
Your hosting account login credentials (Username and Password). We use a password manager to keep your logins secure.
Website Credentials
Administrator-level login credentials for your website (if applicable). Include email provider login credentials.
Images / Videos
Digital assets (images, videos, icons) to use on your website. If you are hosting video elsewhere (ie Vimeo), we'll need links.
Content
Content for each page. Include updated information, links, and legal verbiage (ie Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Terms).
Style Guide
Your Brand Style Guide, including colors, fonts and specific design elements. List your Top 3 website inspirations.
2) UPLOAD ITEMS TO YOUR PORTAL
We will create a custom workspace where we can collaborate, share files and communicate. You will receive an email to set up your client portal profile. You may refer to this project management portal at any time to track the progress of your project.
3) THE DESIGN PROCESS
The process of designing a website can be thrilling and overwhelming at the same time. We will walk you through each phase of the process.
During the Planning Phase, we will work on the layout and design of your website. We will incorporate everything we've learned about your goals from our conversations, your Website Design Strategy Questionnaire, and your uploaded digital assets during this phase.
We will first submit a website wireframe for your approval, then begin the process of designing pages.
Next, we will submit the pages for your approval.
Once we receive your approval on the website layout and design, we begin the Construction Phase. We work on the technical, behind-the-scenes functionality and ensure all integrations are set up. We connect and coordinate all the moving parts.
Once we've run our internal tests, we will submit the website to you for your review and approval.
During the Revise and Refine Phase, you will have a chance to test drive your website.
Please take time to review each page and flag any edits you wish to make to copy, design, or functionality.
We will make the final edits to the website and submit for your final review and approval.
4) PUBLISH AND CELEBRATE!
We recommend publishing your new website on a Friday. Once your website is live, it may take some devices up to 48 hours to access your website. We will celebrate you and your new website!
